Eco-Energi provide and install a wide range of products to ensure that your property can operate in the most energy efficient and environmentally beneficial manner possible.
However, we do not only install stand alone systems but we also provide hybrid systems that can be designed to cater for your requirements all year round whilst taking advantage of the natural conditions during each season (for example utilising solar radiation during the summer to heat water and provide electricity, and utilising increased wind strength in winter to power a wind turbine).

Solar Photovoltaics: more energy is produced from the Sun in 1 hour than mankind uses in 1 year! Solar PV (photovoltaic) uses this energy to create electricity to run appliances and lighting. PV requires only daylight - not direct sunlight - to generate electricity. PV cells create significantly more energy than solar panels and may allow you to sell some of the energy you’ve created back to the grid.
Wind Power: In the UK we have 40% of Europe's total wind energy. But it's still largely untapped and only 0.5% of our electricity requirements are currently generated by wind power. However, wind power makes sense for many homeowners who want to install a reasonably simple technology that can make a difference to their home’s energy consumption.
Biomass: biomass is organic matter of recent origin. It doesn't include fossil fuels, which have taken millions of years to evolve. The CO2 released when energy is generated from biomass is balanced by that absorbed while the organic matter was growing. This is therefore a carbon neutral process. Wood burning stoves can be used for space heating or can heat the entire home including water. Some stoves are completely automatic and only ignite when the thermostat calls for heat, making them the ideal back-up for solar heating. £2.00 (1kg) of wood pellets can deliver 5kWh of energy.
Heat Pumps transfer heat from the earth, water or air into a building to provide space heating and, in some cases, to pre-heat domestic hot water. In the case of air source heat pumps, they can also be used to cool the house in summer. For every unit of electricity used to pump the heat, 3-4 units of heat are produced. This makes this source of renewable energy up to 400% efficient.
Rainwater Harvesting & Grey Water Recycling: utilising the significant amounts of rain we get in the UK to supplement a home’s existing water supply or just for garden use is an easy way to reduce your home’s impact on the environment, as well as helping you to get round the increasing number of hose pipe bans in recent years. Grey water i.e. the waste water from showers, basins and washing machines, can be recycled for non-potable uses such as flushing the toilet and watering the garden.
